1. Sheila
My second home, by virtue of being alive and breathing the world of the sea. I do not tend to eat fish outside but Sharon Cohen and Sheila meet my high standard in terms of suppliers and quality. In recent years, Sheila has been for me no less than a Tel Aviv symbol. Ben Yehuda 182
2. Daria
Today kosher does not detract from the quality. Fine dining can also be kosher as happens in Daria – a different and new kitchen that relies on amazing ingredients and still manages to maintain kosher. The dishes have a lot of color and flavors for the palate, as the audience in Tel Aviv likes, and they still maintain quality. The Hilton always knew how to link things to the hotel in terms of level. Daria upgrades the hotel and makes it a leader in the world of kosher cuisine, which caters not only to kosher observers but also to locals who want to eat in a good restaurant. Hayarkon 205
3. Wine Depot
My go-to in terms of wine. Although the store is not in the city center, it is close to my home and for me it is a place of refuge. I find there the best wines from the country and the world and also sake, which came in in recent years and bought me because of the owner’s understanding that there are people who are interested in other areas in the world of alcohol. Every time I go in there it’s a kid’s experience in a candy store. The Iron 33
4. Baka Bakery
I have seen the bakery grow from the first day of its opening and its success precisely in an area that is not crowded. The emphasis on the little things that make the experience speak to me and also the accuracy and cleanliness. I like to buy fresh breads and pastries to take home here, and service is the name of the game. Moshe Sneh 21
5. Independence Garden
This is my zone at least twice a day. Because of the intensity of my work, I adapted to a custom: to sit there twice a day, a quarter of an hour at a time, and to soak up air and quiet. The sunsets here are the most beautiful in the country and people of all kinds order food in Volt or spread a blanket and have a picnic on the grass. It is rare to find such a quiet and pastoral place in the heart of Tel Aviv in front of the sea and the park.
