Samsung took 37% of the European market by the end of the first quarter of 2024. This is stated in a study by the analytical company Canalys, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.
According to the company’s report, smartphone shipments in Europe (excluding Russia) grew by 2% compared to last year and amounted to 33.1 million devices.
Samsung took first place in the ranking, having supplied 12.1 million smartphones to the market, which is 37% of the total market volume. Second place went to Apple, which supplied 7.3 million devices and took 22% of the market. At the same time, Apple occupied first place in the market at the end of last year. Xiaomi rounds out the top three with a market share of 16% and shipments of 5.4 million smartphones.
The most popular models were the iPhone 15 Pro Max (2.6 million), iPhone 15 Pro (1.6 million), and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (1.6 million). The top 10 also included the Samsung Galaxy A15 (1.6 million), iPhone 15 (1.4 million), Redmi 13C (1.2 million), Galaxy A15 5G (1.2 million), Galaxy S24 (1.1 million), Redmi Note 13 4G (1.1 million), and Galaxy A25 5G (900 thousand).
