Arsenal continues to dream big. Mikel Arteta’s Gunners beat Brighton 2:4 in the 18th round of the Premier League, recorded a ninth victory in the last ten games and took advantage of Manchester City’s stumble to open a gap of no less than seven points at the top.
In total, this is the third time in 2022 that Arsenal have recorded a five-game winning streak in the Premier League, and they finish the calendar year with 25 wins in 35 league games, i.e. a 71% success rate, which is the second best success rate in their history since 2002 (72%) . She scored 77 in 2022, with only Liverpool and reigning champions Manchester City above her (79 each).
