Who will prevail in the DPS and will the great left unity collapse – these are the most important questions surrounding the upcoming elections, according to PR expert Nikolay Algaffari.
“One question is that Delyan Peevski’s people will defeat Dogan’s people. It is very important for me how they will arrange themselves among them. The other question is whether the great left unity will bring a little more votes and mandates, or they will collapse even more because usually when the BSPs unite, they collapse,” Alghafari pointed out on Nova TV. As two important conditions, he added how many and which of the smaller formations will enter the National Assembly and what the voter turnout will be.
Alghafari pointed out that all parties say they don’t want to work with Peevski, but he hasn’t heard anyone express a willingness to work with Dogan. In any case, however, according to him, no regular government will be formed in the 51st parliament either.
Journalist Petko Georgiev predicts that it is possible for new elections in 1-2 years to consolidate a strong pro-Russian bloc in the parliament and take power. BSP, “Vazrazhdane” and President Rumen Radev’s people would enter it, but this issue is not relevant for the current elections.
