“Imagine a meteorite hurtling towards the earth and no one cares.” That sounds like the plot of the film “Don’t look up”. In it, two scientists try to warn humanity of a meteorite catastrophe. They fail because of ignorance, calculation of power and laziness. The film will hit theaters in 2021. Two years later, the meteorite could just as easily be called a climate crisis, world hunger or poverty. We know what’s going wrong. We also know what we should do. But in the end everything goes on as before.
