The final of the annual GSEA Greece 2024 student entrepreneurship competition was concluded on Thursday, February 8 with great success. Of the 26 students who initially applied, 12 made it to the mentoring phase and 8 of them participated in the final. For the preparation of the students, members of EO Greece generously offered their support with mentoring and coaching.

The big winner was Nikos Sklavounos, founder of UniStudents, an all-in-one mobile application that helps students manage their academic course.

In second place was Konstantinos Keselidis, co-founder of Uplodio, a platform that helps marketing agencies and brands find the right UGC creators & influencers for their advertising needs.

The third place was won by Marina Gavrilaki, co-founder of Physisorg, a company that educates small and medium enterprises in relation to sustainability, social responsibility and environmental awareness.

On the day of the final and before the announcement of the results, the Startups and Scale-ups: The Greek potential and success stories panel was held with important protagonists of the Greek ecosystem, who described their experiences and good practices for scale-up. The discussion was moderated by Kostas Oikonomopoulos and the panelists were: M. Papathanou (partner at Metavallon VC), N. Antoniou (CEO PJ Tech Catalyst Management VC), M. Petichakis (CTO at Orfium), D. Memos (former-CEO MarineTraffic), G. Augustidis (co-founder Skroutz), D. Papadimitriou (CEO Business Pathways).

The event was attended by over 60 people throughout the day, while we should emphasize the significant contribution of the sponsors, who together with the dynamic team of the GSEA committee provided great value to the competitors and participants of the event.
