Born as a spin-off of “The Six Million Dollar Man” series «La donna bionica» follows the adventures of Jaime Sommers (character played by actress Lindsay Wagner), daughter of two government agents killed in a conflict. After going to live at the home of Steve Austin (the future six million dollar man, star of the homonymous series currently available for streaming on Prime Video) Sommers will become a “bionic” woman following a parachute accident and decide to serve the OSI, the United States security office, as a secret agent in complicated and difficult missions. Of the show, conceived by the same Kenneth Johnson who a few years later would produce the popular “The Incredible Hulk” with Lou Ferrigno, only three seasons were made for a total of 58 episodes, broadcast in the States between 1976 and 1978 ( and some time later also in Italy, on the Fininvest networks today Mediaset). 46 years after the first broadcast, here’s what happened to the cast, starting with Lindsay Wagner / Jaime Sommers.
