The El Salvador team continues to add activities to the calendar for 2024 and this Friday they will play their first game as a visitor in Costa Rica, where it will be David Dóniga’s second test at the helm of the blue and white.
After the interesting friendly game against Inter Miami on January 19, the Cuscatleca squad will travel to San José to face the local team at the National Stadium of Costa Rica. The meeting is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
The last time El Salvador played at the National Stadium in Costa Rica was in the qualifiers on the way to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. On October 10, 2021, the Costa Rican team, led at that time by Colombian coach Luis Fernando Suárez, won 2 -1 to the team of Hugo Ernesto Pérez, for the fifth date of the Concacaf Octagonal.
