The players and management of the French team observed a minute of silence in tribute to the victims of the attacks of November 13, 2015, Monday before their training in Clairefontaine, in front of the journalists present. That evening, 130 people were killed in attacks in Paris and at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis where the friendly match between France and Germany (2-0) was taking place. Among the internationals present for this gathering, three had participated in this meeting: Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud and Kingsley Coman.

In a circle in front of the “castle”, their residence at the training center, the vice-world champions respected this minute of silence by holding each other by the shoulders. Their security officer, Commander Mohamed Sanhadji, spoke. “I spoke to them about the solemnity of this moment, the values ​​of the Republic, and I reminded them that our country had been attacked that day,” the officer explained to AFP.

The France team plays against Gibraltar on Saturday in Nice, in Athens against Greece on November 21, in qualifying matches for Euro-2024, for which the Blues already have their ticket.
