daniel castrodeputy of BNGhas accused the Xunta of “lack of transparency” and of “block” the access of the deputies of his party «to the information that he has by law», as reflected in article 9 of the regulations of the Parliament of Galicia. They criticize the Autonomous Government which, with these attitudes, is “making their work difficult as representatives of the people”.

In February, the Bloc also denounced this “undemocratic behavior” before the Advocate of the People. In a resolution in June, he addressed the First Vice Presidency and the Ministry of the Presidency warning that the information had not been provided “in a large number of initiatives”, making it impossible for the deputies to work and violating “a fundamental right derived from the political representation they hold and the exercise of the representative position”.

Despite the increase in requests answered by the Xunta al Bloque, Castro also denounces that “on many occasions the quality of the answers failsbecause either you refer to a link on a web page that does not provide anything, or the information they provide is not what was requested or even in their answers they go so far as to assign duties to the deputies».

The BNG denounces that some of the questions where “the response was insufficient or not very transparent” is about the advertising contracts and their amounts with the Sogama company in the years 2019, 2020 and 2021.
