The last transnational meeting of the Erasmus+ CHLOERIS program took place in Mytilini between May 31 and June 3. The meeting was attended by schools from Normandy, France, a school from Bulgaria as well as 4 Greek schools, the Board of Paradisiou, the 1st Board of Kremastis, the high school of Amfissa and the 2nd Board of Mytilini which had undertaken the organization.
The Board of Paradisi was represented by the director Mr. Dendas Georgios and the French language teacher Bartsota Dimitra.
The aim of the specific meeting was the debriefing and evaluation of the program, which took place in the room of the general secretariat of the Aegean and island policy, but also in the event hall of the school, in an atmosphere of cooperation between all partners. A synthesis of the results of all the participating schools was made, identifying the positive points but also the difficulties that were presented.
The partners were warmly welcomed by the students of the 2nd Board of Mytilini with a beautiful celebration with traditional dances and fine local dishes. The event was graced by the presence of the Regional Director of Education Mrs. Kaiti Strataki, the Director of Primary Education Mr. Dimitris Voulgaris and the responsible education consultant Mrs. Maria Tzoura.
After the completion of the works, educational visits and guided tours followed to places of local interest such as the Natural History Museum of the Petrified Forest in Sigri, the Kalloni Salt Flats, Agiaso and Molyvos.
Through the creation of ties and collaborations as well as the exchange of good practices, the partners were given the opportunity to strengthen their personal and professional skills by creating a European network of cooperation schools, abolishing geographical boundaries. The benefits for the students are manifold. The main axes that were worked on through various actions were inclusion, citizenship and the values of sports, contributing to the development and strengthening of basic skills in students, which they will use in the learning process and later as active citizens.
