The Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network confirmed today, Thursday, the network’s readiness to support the efforts of government institutions, including the Ministry of Communications.
This came during a meeting between the Chairman and members of the Board of Trustees of the Iraqi Media Network with the Minister of Communications, Hiam Al-Yasiri.
The two parties discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the media network and the Ministry of Communications on issues of common interest.
The Chairman and members of the Council gave a brief explanation of the roles played by the Iraqi Media Network in a way that strengthens the national identity of society, preserves its principles, develops its state of awareness, and guarantees its right to obtain information, stressing, “The network’s constant readiness to support all service efforts provided by government institutions, including the Ministry of Communications.” “In order to support the state of stability and reconstruction that the country is witnessing.”
For her part, Al-Yasiri provided a detailed explanation of the tasks and work mechanism of the Ministry of Communications and its professionalism in dealing with the files and issues that fall under its responsibility, praising “the efforts made by the Iraqi Media Network and its keeping up with local events and occasions and its continuous coverage of the service efforts provided to citizens.”
It expressed the ministry’s readiness “to provide everything that would improve the network’s work and overcome all the difficulties surrounding its work, within the powers of the Ministry of Communications.”
