Thiruvananthapuram: A policeman who was searching for the accused in the Pothencode Sudheesh murder case was killed when his boat sank. The incident took place at Anchuthengu Panayilkadavu. A native of Alappuzha, S.A.P. Balu, a policeman in the camp, was killed. The Varkala CI and three policemen were injured in the accident.

The police team is looking for Ottakam Rajesh, the main accused in the Pothencode murder case. It was reported that the camel Rajesh was hiding in an island in the Anchuthengu area.
