A 4-year-old boy was mysteriously found dead in an iron cart parked near a pharmacy on the Villupuram-Chennai highway a few days ago. The piece was spread on the cart and the boy was lying on it.
The public who passed by saw this and informed the Villupuram West police. Police led by Inspector Selvaraj rushed to the spot, visited the boy’s body and questioned the neighbors.
The police later seized the boy’s body and sent it to the Mundiyambakkam Government Hospital for autopsy. Who is that boy? It is unknown at this time what he belonged to. The autopsy report revealed that he had died of starvation without food.
Looking at the boy’s clothes, the government revealed that the Anganwadi was children’s clothing. Following this, the Anganwadi Centers were informed and the police are investigating whether any information is available through it. Police also conducted an investigation through footage recorded on a surveillance camera in the area.
A CCTV recording of the incident has been released to the police. The video shows the boy being carried on the shoulder by one person and accompanied by another. This confirms that they both put the boy in the trolley. Police are involved in trying to identify them.
An investigation was also launched into the suspicion that the kidnapping gang from a foreign state may have isolated the boy and put him in a trolley after he died without food. The boy’s photo has been sent to the state police in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka and is being investigated.
