In Berlin, near the building of the Russian embassy, a Russian diplomat was found dead. Reported by the Spiegel edition with reference to the police.
According to the newspaper, on the morning of October 19, the city police found the body of a man near the building, but it was not possible to reanimate it. According to preliminary data, the deceased was a 35-year-old man who is the second secretary of the embassy. Presumably, he fell from the top floor of the building.
German Foreign Ministry spokesman Christopher Burger confirmed the death of an employee of the Russian embassy in Berlin. “This case is known to the ministry, but I cannot give any details because of the provisions on the protection of personal data and information,” he said.
