Chennai: Director M. Thiyakarajan, who directed the hit film ‘City Police’ starring Vijaykanth, wandered the streets of Chennai as an orphan and died today (Dec. 8). His body was taken to the hospital by the Metropolitan Police. It was a coincidence that the Metropolitan Police finally came to the rescue when the filmmaker abandoned the filmmaker in the name of the Metropolitan Police.

Thiagarajan hails from Aruppukottai, Virudhunagar district. He studied cinema related DFT and initially went into a coma after an accident near his hometown and later recovered from directing films in cinema. Although he directed two films, Success in Cinema and City Guard, he did not succeed in cinema after that.
In Vadapalani he lived in dirty clothes, with a newspaper in hand and his mother supported by food. In this condition he died today. Although it is a pity that he did not succeed in real life despite his portrayal of success in cinema, it can be said that it was a great tragedy to be orphaned like this.
Commenting on his demise, co-director Neelan Kanishka said on the social networking site, ” What’s the point of time when Annar’s last day with the Metropolitan Police, who died before the AVM was a huge success in cinema, ended like this ..?
