RESUME – In spring 2000, Serge Garde in L’Humanité, then Laurence Beneux in Le Figaro, revealed the existence of the Zandvoort CD-Rom containing 8,500 child sexual documents, and of a file established by the Dutch police from the CD-Rom, with 472 photos of minors. Who are these children in danger? Journalists, parents, associations and childhood professionals, failing to obtain suitable surveys, will search for and identify around twenty children in the file.

On the side of institutions, police and justice, there is embarrassment, denigration and sometimes disinformation to mask the de facto decriminalization of paedosexuality in many cases. With, occasionally, highly publicized actions to respond to the demands of public opinion which now refuses silence.

In a Europe traumatized by the Dutroux affair, the CD-Rom is becoming a formidable indicator of problems in France: why the current denial, how to fight against networks in the age of the Internet?

A second CD-Rom containing scenes of rape and torture of incredible violence was sent to the courts by Laurence Beneux and two Canal + journalists. Information was opened in early 2001 without anyone being informed.

In their conclusion, the authors announce that there are more than… 20 CD-Roms! What to do with it, when justice seems paralyzed.
