The Hungarian Boxing Federation (MÖSZ) has asked an Uzbek professional to be the head coach, the former national team captain Robert Bertók and continues to work as a professional director. Hamid Tangribergenov, born in 1972, was already working with the national team at the age of 33, and brought several international class boxers to success, writes MÖSZ in its introduction. From 2009, he worked with the Uzbek juniors, and from 2017 with the youth.
“The position of professional director presents me with new challenges, and I am confident that I will still be able to contribute to the success of Hungarian boxing in the future.
