Praise has been heaped on a boy who was rescued safely after being stranded for 104 hours in an 80-foot deep well in India.

Rahul Sahu, a 10-year-old boy from Bihrid village in Jhangri-Shamba district of Chhattisgarh. Rahul had slipped into an 80-foot-deep borehole in the back of his house that had been unusable for the past 4 days.

Upon learning of this, rescue teams rushed to the scene and rescued the boy trapped in the borehole.

Rescue workers then drilled through the tunnel to the spot where the boy was trapped by a drill mission. The medical team, which had earlier sent oxygen through a tube into the deep well, was constantly monitoring the boy. The rescue operation was carried out jointly by the Army, the National Disaster Rescue Force and the district administration.

Rescue workers rescued the boy, Rahul Shahu, after a 104-hour struggle and brought him out of the tunnel. Rahul is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
