The Budapest Central European Fashion Week has started in the capital

As part of BCEFW, between August 31 and September 1, domestic and regional brands will present their latest SS25 collections in the Millenáris G building. At the event, the audience can get to know the works of 24 designers from Serbia, Morocco, Slovenia, Poland, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Ukraine. The collections of well-known local brands will also appear on the catwalk, and young talents from the New Generation and Young Talents categories will be presented within the framework of catwalk shows and BCEFW Showcase presentations.

The weekend program is enriched by self-organised shows and presentations, starring major domestic brands and internationally recognized designers.

According to the announcement of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (MDDÜ), one of the most important objectives of BCEFW is to act as a bridge to connect the actors of the international fashion scene, and regional collaborations will be created during the season. In forward-looking professional collaborations, long-term exchange programs with fashion events and institutions of Central Europe can be implemented. As part of agreements with the Slovakian Fashion Council, Ljubljana Fashion Week and Belgrad Fashion Week, brands from the region can present themselves at collective shows.

In the spring-summer season of 2025, the newest category of BCEFW, Conscious by BCEFW, will debut with four domestic and one regional designers: NANUSHKA and BORBALA from the Catwalk designers, MARKO FEHER (BA) from the BCEFW Showcase category, while the presenting brands include SLANGSLANG and PRINTA are represented in the section encouraging conscious practices.

Representatives of the international fashion scene will come to the Budapest event again this year: the editors of ELLE Poland and ELLE Ukraine, the journalists of Vogue Italia and Vogue Adria, and 10 Magazine US will also be present.

The weekend programs are also visited by international influencers, Gili Biegun and Shay Zanco are coming to the fashion week for the first time.

Well-known street style photographers also take their place in the audience, in addition to Despi Naka, those interested can meet Pat Domingo at some programs of the Fashion Hub. In addition to international opinion leaders, BCEFW will also be visited by several professional actors, showroom and multibrand store owners.
