The lot has been cast, it’s time to fight. Our men’s and women’s nationals learned the path they must take to win medals at the European Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. The championship starts tomorrow, and over 330 boxers from 35 countries will take part.

Bulgaria will be represented by 13 national teams. The men are led by Joel Arate, Valentin Poptolev and Alexander Alexandrov, while the women’s coaches are Borislav Georgiev and Roman Tsvetkov. This year, the European Championship has a prize pool, as prizes will be taken by all boxers ranked in the Top 5 in the individual categories.

On the first day of the championship in Belgrade, there will be no native participation. The tournament for Bulgaria will be opened by our great talent Radoslav Rosenov and the winner of the quota for the Paris Games, Rami Keuan, who will box on April 19.
