He is close to turning 60 and recognizes that life has gone well, despite the economic crises he has had to overcome throughout his career and in which he was on the verge of losing everything. The most indebted Bertomeu can thus also continue with a complementary business, high speed, in which he entered to redouble his commitment to mobility.
The businessman has explained to this newspaper that he trusts that the Spanish economy will not suffer a recession that is too deep and long that will once again make his company shake to the bone. In this context, the tax increase for the rich that the Government is preparing does not shock him at all. He declares himself a defender of the progression in income tax and would not see with bad eyes that, in a time of trouble and the need to increase collection, two more sections of personal income tax were established temporarily. This would give rise to what he calls a real redistribution of wealth.
