The possibility of an electrical fault as the source of the fire was ruled out, as the encampment operates with the approval of the electric company and under the supervision of a qualified electrical engineer.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire. However, concerns were raised by the founders of the encampment, citing recent threats from passersby who have expressed extreme and violent behavior towards the residents.
