After two seasons, Adam Ariel leaves Hapoel Jerusalem: the team has decided not to exercise the option on the captain, who will look for a new goal for next season.
In recent days, the possibility of Jerusalem signing a new contract has also arisen, but after there were no agreements on the terms, the matter did not materialize – and Ariel, as stated, will not continue at the club where he grew up.
Several teams in the Premier League have already approached Ariel, but currently he prefers to go to Europe, as the fact that he holds a German passport may make it easier for him to do so. In the 15/16 season he has already played in Germany, in the Bremerhaven uniform.
Ariel finished the 21/22 season with less good averages than the 20/21 season: 6.1 points at 35.4% for three and 1.9 rebounds in 19.9 minutes on the floor.
