Road widening works are underway on Kopi-Erodu road. Thus there is a lot of traffic congestion in that area. Similarly, work is underway to build a bridge at the Polavakkali camp near Kopi.

At this point the car that came to the area unexpectedly fell into the ditch dug to build the bridge. Fortunately the driver of the car survived the accident.

Police have registered a case in connection with the accident and are investigating.
