The Carlemany Forum celebrates its 20th anniversary Gala

He Carlemany Forum celebrated the annual Gala yesterday at the Castle of Sant Gregori and did so with a special format for commemorate the 20 years of the entity. This year’s award winners were Josep Coll, manager of Sant Dalmai Food Company; Maria Saló, director of human resources at Frit Ravich and Joan Maria Cassany, from Lennati. During the gala, Sandra Masoliver, president of the Carlemany Forum and CEO of Masoliver, gave “congratulations” to the three award winners who she described as “people who believed in the Forum and who made it shine from the shadows”. Regarding the twentieth anniversary of the Forum, Masoliver added that “it is not the result of chance that we add 20 years, but thanks to the drive and tireless work that the different presidents and members have shared year after year”, at the same time which assured that “we will continue to add years to contribute to promoting the excellence of our companies, the talent of our members and make a better country”.

With a different format than other editions, the Gala had the attendance of 300 people. Among the guests, there were people who had been awarded with the award in other years Member of Honor and the Charlemagne Falcon such as Jordi Pujol, former president of the Generalitat, Jordi Cuixart, former president of Òmnium Cultural or Jaume Rourespartner of Mediapro, who were honored and recognized for their “effort, dedication and work”.

Future challenges

The next big meeting organized by the organization will take place in November with the Supertransversel, where different entrepreneurs will meet and, through the becnhmarking, will address everything related to the industry 5.0 and the interaction between humans and machineswith artificial intelligence and robotics as the most prominent elements.

About the Carlemany Forum

Founded in 2003, the Carlemany Forum is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to seek excellence in business management and the continuous improvement of business through ‘benchmarking’, a technique based on sharing experiences through of meetings, debates and meetings of the various working groups. He’s turned 20 and he’s done it with one hundreds of associated Girona companies from various industrial sectors. It enjoys a high level of participation in the activities it leads, with the involvement of close to half a thousand managers and directors.

A quarter of the hundred companies that are part of it invoice more than 60 million euros annually and almost half, 42%, are located in the Gironès region. From micro-companies (6% have between one and ten employees) to large organizations, 24%, which have a staff of more than 251 people. Girona F.C., Basketball GironaAgrienergia, Frit Ravich, Galetes Trias, Haribo, HyperComexi, Metalquimia, Noel, Bassols Energia, Cuatrecases and Wikiloc, among many others, are some of the associated companies. Its managers participating in the Forum are divided into 14 groups of ‘benchmarking’ (Management Assistants, Administration and Finance, Senior Management, Carlemanys Junior, Entrepreneur Club Group, Commercial and Marketing Management, R+D+I Engineering, Supply Chain Management, People Management, ICT , Labor Relations, Prevention of Labor Risks, ESG and Entrepreneurs). These groups hold meetings throughout the year to discuss various topics and bring their own experiences and knowledge to the table. There are half a hundred benchmarking sessions a year, bringing together a total of 500 managers and the attendance and participation is around the 87% of active companies.
