Thiruvananthapuram: The police have moved to close the case against former minister Saji Cherian in connection with his unconstitutional remarks. The police is of the conclusion that the unconstitutional remark cannot be proved. The Public Prosecutor has given legal advice to the police in this regard. The police will approach the Thiruvalla Judicial First Class Magistrate Court on Monday seeking closure of the case.

Saji Cherian had to resign from the ministerial post after he was accused of making serious remarks against the constitution in his speech in Mallapally.
