As part of a series of raids that occurred in the case investigating the million-dollar insurance contracting scheme, the federal justice system charged and raided today Mauro Tanos, the current general manager of Insurance Nation. As he knew THE NATION From judicial sources, the documentation collected in the investigation indicates that Tanos acted as a contact with the firm San Ignacio, a company that collected million-dollar commissions together with the firm TG Brokers – owned by Pablo Torres García – for contracting the Anses policy. Furthermore, in the file there is documentation that proves that Tanos and his partner have licenses to drive high-end cars that belong to two cooperatives: “7 de Mayo Cooperativa de Trabajo Limitada” and “Cooperativa de Trabajo Irigoin Limitada.” These last two entities were under the crosshairs of Justice.
From the old guard La Cámpora, Tanos was closely linked to Jose Ottavis, who knew how to be one of the strong men of the organization that leads Maximo Kirchner. The complex web of links
But not only were Tanos and Eufemio, current officials of Nación Seguros, the targets of the raids. The justice system detected a network of links between the authorities of the San Ignacio firm and a group of people who were in charge of other co-insurance companies that intervened in the Anses policy, related, in turn, to the officials of Nación Seguros.
In the Nación Seguros policies provided by Anses, it is observed, according to Justice, that those that record the intermediation of the company San Ignacio y TG Brokers (as organizer and producer), they simultaneously have the intervention of the firm among their co-insurers Saint German. In this line of investigation, the homes of Brian Kelly y Hernán Marcos Bressi, who appear respectively as president and alternate director of San Ignacio. Diego Nicolás Rosendi and Lucas Pablo Rosendi are also being investigated, with Bressi and with Hector Basilio Villaverde through the San Germán co-insurance firm.
They are not only investigated because of the company’s role in the complex contracting network, but because there are also suspicions regarding the raids that occurred last month at the homes where the San Ignacio company supposedly operated. But those boxes, according to the records obtained by the justice system, were moved to the raided headquarters shortly before the police arrived at the scene. The boxes were delivered by a man named Carlos Alberto Suárez, who was driving a car whose owner is a relative of a partner of the purchasing manager of Nación Seguros. Marcos Federico Eufemio. From there arises, among other elements, the relationship between this Nación Seguros official and the directors of the San Ignacio firm.
Companies linked to Héctor Martínez Sosa
Due to a series of irregularities that occurred in the raids ordered last month at the San Ignacio and Bachellier companies (linked to Héctor Martínez Sosa), Justice considers the documentation that both firms provided to be uncertain. There is not only uncertainty about the information provided by the companies – since movements of boxes with documents that were delivered to the company’s parking lot were detected – but also about the actual headquarters of their businesses.
There are also new suspicions around the company’s headquarters Bachellier S.A, the main beneficiary of the millions of State policies. According to the Nación Seguros audit, Bachellier appears as the intermediary who received the largest sums as a result of his intermediation in the insurance contracts contracted by the Ministry of National Security and the different security forces, and which is equivalent to almost half of the total amount surveyed. . Judicial officials suspect that this firm is related to the company “Héctor Martínez Sosa y CIA SA”, owned by the husband of Alberto Fernández’s historic private secretary, María Cantero.
Today’s proceedings occurred after the judicial officials in charge of the case received a report prepared by the internal trustees of Nación Seguros, who respond to the General Sindicatura de la Nación, which includes the names of all the producers who were paid commissions and amounts. According to that document, Bachellier SA – linked to Martínez Sosa -, Castello Mercuri SA, San Ignacio Sociedad de Productos and Torres García Brokers, were the companies that benefited most from the contracting investigated, and the amount of the commissions amounts to at least $3,453 million, at nominal values.
