The CCME’s participation in this edition is structured around the theme “Moroccans, ambassadors of values”. It highlights the contributions of Moroccan communities in the preservation and transmission of Moroccan values ​​to the multiple and diverse tributaries, in permanent interaction with different cultures around the world.

Like previous participations, the programming of the CCME stand includes sessions of dialogue and exchange between the public and the various specialists and experts on the migration issue from Morocco and abroad.

In addition to the seminars and round tables, the program includes a space for discussions and dedications to Moroccan writers from around the world, the council’s stand will also host an exhibition on human values ​​in royal letters and speeches, in addition to the presentation and exhibition of a comic strip produced by young Moroccans from here and abroad, in partnership with the Hiba Foundation and the Al Mada Foundation, as well as a series of artistic workshops on human values, the press release said.

Mr. Abdallah Boussouf, Secretary General of the CCME, quoted in the press release, considers that the presence of the council and its partners at this edition of the SIEL is in line with its previous participation in terms of its objectives, which are to expose the singularity of Moroccan values ​​that extend throughout history and civilizations and to communicate on their importance in the current global context beset by conflicts in their various manifestations.

“Through its scientific contributions and its spaces for debate which highlight the achievements of Moroccans around the world, the CCME aims first and foremost to promote the values ​​of coexistence, dialogue and acceptance of others, these values ​​of Tamaghrabit which constitute a peaceful alternative to violent approaches and speeches of hatred and discrimination,” says Mr. Boussouf.

On this occasion, the CCME will present its latest publications, starting with the new encyclopedias “Tamaghribit”, which include more than forty volumes on Moroccan identity, culture, values, personality and oral heritage. Other publications dealing with the themes of Islamophobia, cultural and sports diplomacy, which will feed the council’s library, will be made available to the reader through the Council’s electronic application CCMEBOOKS, notes the same source.

On the sidelines of this programme, specialists in the human sciences will meet at the 4th International Conference of Social Sciences, which will be held under the theme “Migration and values ​​in a context of risk and uncertainty”, the press release concludes.
