The Central Election Fee (CEC) adopted a choice at its assembly concerning the announcement of the elected members of the European Parliament from Bulgaria.

DPS chairman Jevdet Chakarov, Iskra Mihailova-Koparova from DPS and Rosen Zhelyazkov from GERB-SDS gave up their seats within the European Parliament. Jevdet Chakarov was the chief of the DPS listing within the elections for representatives of Bulgaria within the European Parliament, and Iskra Mihailova was third.
