It was during a ceremony organized at the Chinese cultural center by the Atlantic Littoral Regional Kung-fu League that Jean Lokossou Kéta chaired. This launch of the work was held as a prelude to the 6-month continuing training that practitioners will have to follow starting this month. It is to correct the technical inadequacies which plague the practice of the martial art Kung-fu that the league regional Atlantique Littoral de Kung-fu has made this important decision which is the result of in-depth reflection carried out with supervisors at various levels. Thus, the main goal of the creation of this club and training is to standardize the technical vocabulary and refereeing rules used in the field of Kung-fu. It will also be a matter of standardizing the sequences of techniques performed by the learners during the different competitions. From this main objective, arise training objectives on behalf of the Atlantic and Littoral regional league, a team for the various demonstrations and another team which will represent this league, during national competitions. , regional or international which will be organized; the establishment of specific training for Kung-fu masters, to enable them to properly supervise learners on their mats, especially those who make up the league teams.
What they say : Speaking at the ceremony, President Jean Lokossou Kéta said he was filled with joy and filled with pride, because once again, the Kung Fu family honored in style an appointment as crucial as it was decisive for their common mission. undertaken since August 8, 2021. “It is a new act which undoubtedly testifies to how strong and great the level of our commitment and determination, for the influence and promotion of Kung-fu within the Atlantic and the Littoral. What am I saying, throughout Benin, and even beyond,” he declared. For his part, Claude Sognon Adanmènoukon, Project Director of the Central Club of the League stressed that they are convinced that this program put in place will greatly benefit each of the practitioners. “We guarantee the president that we will meet his expectations so that this program is not a waste of time,” he promised before thanking all the actors at various levels, called upon for the success of this new futuristic mission which, he admits, “will not be an easy thing, but a success, all things considered”.
He also thanked President Jean Lokossou Kéta on behalf of all the trainers and on his own behalf, for believing in them.
Between the lines : Through this training, the league intends to define a roadmap which will serve as a framework to efficiently conduct the club’s training sessions and also to put in place regulations for its proper functioning. Because these are indeed the keys to a real new beginning for which Kung fu practitioners have opted from today.
