Rahul Gandhi has criticized the passage of the bill repealing agricultural laws without debate.
Farmers in the capital, Delhi, have been protesting for more than a year against the agricultural laws introduced by the central government, following which the central government announced a three-year withdrawal. The bill repealing 3 agricultural laws was passed during the winter session of Parliament this morning. These bills were passed in both houses without debate.
Commenting on this, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said: “The federal government is afraid to debate agricultural laws. A discussion was to be held regarding the loss of life of the farmers. The uncontested withdrawal of agricultural laws shows the weakness of the central government. However, we are well aware that all 3 agricultural laws will be repealed, ”he said.
