The Central Government should recall the Governor of Tamil Nadu

DMK Parliamentary Committee Chairman DR Balu said in a press conference in Delhi:-

It is wrong for the governor to say that the state government does not have the power to enact a law to ban online gambling. The governor has no right to say that the bill passed by the legislature is invalid.

It is reprehensible that the central government, which is supposed to save people’s lives, is acting indifferently. It is wrong for the governor to send back the online gambling ban law after putting it on hold for 4 months.

He said that we issued the attention notice only to point out that the central government was not paying attention to the governor’s actions.
