During the quota reform movement, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) conducted a search operation at the central office of BNP on July 16. After that, the team’s office was locked and a yellow tape with the word ‘Crime Scene’ was drawn around it. Even though the central office of BNP is locked, there is no yellow tape with ‘Crime Scene’ written on it.

The party office is still locked. Garbage is scattered at the entrance to the office. A few chairs are lying. No party leaders were seen in front of or around the BNP central office. However, some of the pedestrians on the road were seen peeking at the entrance of the BNP office out of curiosity.
Meanwhile, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has claimed that the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan of the capital has been locked by law enforcement forces. In the press conference, he said that the BNP central office was vandalized by the members of law and order protection forces.
