The head of the CGT intends to take advantage of this meeting “to bring the real priorities of the employees, including the salary, which has become a taboo word for the government. We are going to demand answers on social expectations such as gender equality, good protections when you lose your job…”
Sophie Binet also returned to other themes defended by her union. She regrets, for example, that “two very violent reforms for the deprived of employment have reduced the amount of allowances by around 30%. “And only 40% of registrants are compensated,” she adds. “On our priorities, wages and unemployment insurance, there is nothing.
