Dehradun/Haridwar: Chairman of the State Waqf Board Shadab Shams has leveled several allegations regarding the Piran Kaler shrine in Uttarakhand’s Haridwar district. He raised questions accusing the Haridwar administration of misappropriating the donations of the dargah.
According to the report of the news agency IANS, Shadab Shams said in his statement that this time when a manager of the Waqf Board was sent to Dargah Clear Sharif and the donation box for each month was opened, it was not less than 15 lakh rupees. came out, whereas before that, not more than 5 or 6 lakhs of donations were coming out every month. Shadab Shams said that it clearly shows that donations are being squandered in Dargah Clear Sharif.
Shadab Shams added that the Waqf Board had taken a decision to install CCTV cameras in the Dargah, but the district administration has not implemented it till date. He raised the question that what is the reason why the administration is not ready to install CCTV cameras?
