The Germans offer gravity and grotesqueness in a fun story about aging parents and their neurotic children.

Every Christmas Eve, Tom Bell Fanny and Alexander – the longest version, more than five hours long. No coincidence, the young director is a film producer which gives itself three, incredible indiscretions. However, Matthias Glasner, who claims to have a press kit a film “that which does not know itself, which has a pure atmosphere, which is near”, know what to do with that bloated image – in both senses of the word – and the Division (flat title next to original, Die, which means “to die”) shared with the first Bergmans made for television (Fanny and Alexander so but also Scenes from the life of a wife) this is difficult to explain the symbiosis of gravity and low gravity. Horrible and also funny, this chronicle breaks between parents at the end of their rope and their fairly neurotic children admitting their own excesses of tone, dialogue, situations that are quite dramatic, grotesque to the max, singularly creepy and entertaining. The shortest path between Ulrich Seidl and Etienne Chatiliez.

The chapter by Matthias Glasner with Lars Eidinger, Corinna Harfouch… 3:03.
