As it became known, a 49-year-old woman for two years, abusing official powers, transferred the funds of her enterprise to the account of her husband’s fictitious company. The attacker also indicated this current account when certain payments were received by the organization where she worked.
Her daughter was fictitiously employed there, and her salary was regularly accrued. In addition, the attacker acquired material values for personal use.
It was established that similar schemes of theft were used by a fraudster at another Brest enterprise, where she was also the chief accountant.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the chief accountant deceived employers for Br80,000.
Investigators opened a criminal case.
