The National Ombudsman for Children of the Republic of Guinea Amadou Bailo Diallo received by the new Minister for the Promotion of Women, Children and Vulnerable Persons, Mrs. Charlotte Daffé.
Introduced by the National Director of Children to the Minister, Amadou Bailo Diallo first presented his pleasantries before reiterating his availability and his commitment to protecting the rights of children in our country.
The National Director for Children returned to the origins of the appointment of the Mediator for children’s issues as included in the children’s code
He then praised the efforts of the Mediator for his fight to ensure a protective environment for the children of Guinea and his remarkable participation in the various celebrations of the month of the child, Member of the association of ombudsmans and mediators of the Francophonie during one of its meetings in France at the invitation of the defender of the rights of the French Republic
The appointment of Charlotte Daffe is a glimmer of hope and comes at the right time for many citizens to meet the many challenges as guardian and preserver of achievements dedicated to childhood.
Several points were raised, including among others
Strengthening the capacities of the children’s parliament, particularly the search for premises to serve as headquarters, the construction and fitting out of a high-quality kindergarten, support for the construction project of the re-education and reintegration center for minors in Conflict with the law launched in August 2023
