The “CHiPs” return to Twentyseven: from who entered the police (for real) to who was convicted of fraud, what happened to the cast

by time news

Arrived in Italy in 1981, “CHiPs” is a real TV cult of the Eighties: it tells the adventures of two agents of the California Highway Patrol (Frank Poncherello, played by Erik Estrada, and Jon Baker, who has the face of actor Larry Wilcox ), coordinated by Sergeant Joseph Getraer (Robert Pine), on patrol on the Los Angeles freeways aboard their motorcycles. Six seasons of the show were made until its cancellation in 1983, while in 2017 the film adaptation written, directed and starring Dax Shepard was released. Waiting to review all the episodes, currently airing on the new Twentyseven channel (Saturdays at 1.30pm and 6.30pm, Sundays at 2.00pm and 6.30pm and from Monday to Friday at 2.30pm and 7.30pm), here’s what happened to the cast .
