At 7:00 pm this Friday the Ruiz López circus family will tell their story in the documentary “Circo”, the most recent work of the Audiovisual Production Center of the Ministry of Culture (SECULTURA).
The work compiles in 39 minutes the life of Ángel Ruiz, the owner of the circus “Los Traviesos” who shares throughout the documentary the difficulties and satisfactions that life in the circus has left his family.
The documentary captures who the Ruiz family is, how they live, how they are educated, where they sleep and what their dreams and desires are under the traveling tent of a circus.
“Circo” will premiere in the auditorium of the National Museum (MUNA) and admission is free.
This Friday, there are other artistic activities scheduled in Santa Ana. At the Teatro de la Ciudad Morena the monologue “La puta en el madicomio” will be presented by the La Célula theater. This event is scheduled for 2:00 pm and general admission is $3 and $1 for students.
Tomorrow, Saturday the 23rd, at the National Theater of San Miguel, there will be a winter concert with the best songs from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s in the voice of the artist Patty Rugamas from 6:00 pm Admission is free.
