Chaos in Seville, a few hours before the start of the Copa Del Rey final between Athletic Bilbao, Ernesto Valverde and Mallorca.
The city center turned into a battleground between fans of the two teams who traveled to Seville for the big game. As reported by the Spanish media, the Majorca fans had a group of Betis fans with them and the damage was not long in coming.
Videos making the rounds show the two… warring sides fighting hand-to-hand using bats and crowbars and throwing flares, chairs from local cafes, stones and all sorts of objects at each other, with the police completely losing the control.
It is noted that Athletic got 21,000 tickets for the final, but according to estimates, around 100,000 Basques made the trip to Andalusia to support their favorite team!
