As Benemérita sources have confirmed, they are removed from service for three months, while a very serious offense is imposed on them.
Apparently, those sanctioned plan to appeal and assert the principle of freedom of expression, while arguing that among the duties of the Civil Guard is the defense of the Constitution, complying with it and enforcing it.
It is unknown if any similar measure would be adopted against the leaders of the other four associations that published statements in the same sense for criticizing the investiture agreement agreed between PSOE and Junts, considering that it “attacks” “judicial independence”, while they have denounced that the investiture pact implies his “expulsion” from the Basque Country and Catalonia.
