The civilian rescue unit “Magan” began operating in Turkey

The civil rescue unit Magen, in cooperation with ICL and SmartAid, arrived today (Wednesday) in the city of Kermanmarsh and began scanning and locating collapsed buildings where there is a chance of finding trapped people. After settling at the foot of a residential building between 8 floors that collapsed, they began mapping and searching. From the morning until now, they are working to peel away step by step the ruins and look for survivors. The operations will continue well into the night.

In the previous rescue operation, a Magen unit managed to rescue 50-year-old Aisha who had been trapped since the night of the earthquake. The team led by Eran Magen worked for 14 hours to reach Aisha and rescue her safely for further medical treatment.
