The CNDD-FDD expands in Butanyerera: 18 former CNL activists join the party in Rukago hill in Gahombo, Kayanza
Butanyerera (Kayanza, Gahombo commune), 23/06/2023 – In accordance with the internal policy of Burundi and that of the political parties established by the Belgian colonial decree of December 25, 1959, which replaced the miryango, the traditional political structures of the country, a significant event took place.
This Friday, within the CNDD-FDD Hill Section, located in the hill of Rukago, eighteen former activists of the National Congress for Freedom (CNL) were welcomed and are now – Bagumyabanga -, term used to designate the CNDD-FDD activists.
The CNDD-FDD is the first political formation in Burundi.
