Commission through a statement in which he stressed that “it is no longer the most expensive and least productive human rights institution in the world” and as proof of this they cite Audit 14/2021 carried out by its Internal Control Body.

That was, 46.4 percent of the staff of the CNDHwhile almost 30 percent maintained family ties, something that does not exist today.”

In addition, the organization reports that after two years of being chaired by Rosario Piedra Ibarra, the “review of a sample of 41% of the staff files detected Nepotism and family networks, failure to meet job profilesamong others.”

This is the first time in 2 years that the agency refers data relating to the Audit 14/2021, after he responded that year to a note in which he was accused that one of his visitors did not meet the profile to perform his position.

The CNDH indicated that the Audit found “public servants who did not meet the educational and/or experience requirements in accordance with the regulations and also that they were related by blood or affinity, because the personnel purge process ordered in August 2021 was still underway.”

It is worth noting that the National Human Rights Commission has been the target of criticism in recent weeks, as it warned against filing a constitutional action against the judicial reform, stating that this was “a victory for the people.”
