An unusual story from the creator of the National League: the season hasn’t started yet, but coach Haim Levy managed to finish his job with two different teams, and without transferring a single official game this season (!).
So what is the background to the story? We will try to sort it out. Haim Levy successfully finished last season in the city of Ramat Hasharon, but in the summer even before training started, the professional manager, Haim Shabu, decided to end Levy’s position and move to the position of coach.
Levy, who received compensation of NIS 60,000, was looking for the next station, and the person who turned to him was Adumim Ashdod, to which he was appointed about two weeks ago. At the same time, those who thought that the agreement would “last” for a long time, were quickly deceived.
This morning Levy was summoned to a conversation with the management of Adumim Ashdod, in which he was told that he had finished his position and would not conduct the upcoming training session. The reason, according to officials in Ashdod, is that in his school he is a coach who is less specialized in developing young people. In the background, there are also those who explain the move in Levy’s crisis of confidence with the assistant coach, David Rabivo.
At the moment, David Rabivo, who is appreciated in the club, has been given the reins temporarily, when he may also become the permanent coach of Adumim Ashdod.
