This action is part of the campaign that this collective launched on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, to help Beninese women know the state of health of their breasts early. This will allow them to be able to quickly benefit from advice and start treatment early in the event that the test turns out to be positive. When the team’s presence was announced, a good number of women did not need to be asked. They took the direction of the system set up to be tested. And it is with great joy that they left, proud to be negative in the test and to learn how to perform the gesture once at home. And according to them, it is a good action Dr. Hortense Kossou, President of the collective and her sisters have initiated.

What to remember about the self-assessment process: According to the members of the team who came to do the free screening for women at Ste Rita Church (on this Mother’s Day) the successful examination of a breast is done in 7 stages and this in any position (standing, sitting or lying down).
