Colombian cycling continues to showcase talent at the international level. Boyacá rider Diana Pinilla, attached to the ranks of Team Boyacá es Para Vivirla, is participating in the Catalunya Bike Race 2024 in Spain and has managed to get on the podium in the first stage.

At the end of the first half, the champion explained: “I am very happy to be able to participate in the Catalunya Bike Race, it is a very fast stage with a length of about 15 kilometers and I am happy to be able to compete in the race here (Puigcerdà, ed.), also showing the national championship shirt,” he pointed out.
He also gave details of the difference when it comes to running in the Colombian area: “The routes are a little different from what we usually run in our country, with more trails and technical track, but I gave everything to get ahead,” he recalled.
The race continues and he sees the possibilities to be in the prestigious positions: “I will give everything to climb more positions, to be able to win some stages and why not, also win the game- race home. It is a dream for everyone to come here to the European region, I am very happy and grateful to those who helped me to be here,” Pinilla pointed out.
The second stage of the Catalunya Bike Race 2024 will take place on Saturday, September 28 on a route of 52.2 kilometers and 1,773 meters of high elevation gain, where the rider from Chiquinquirá hopes to shine again.
