Kolossos tried and fought until the end in Peristeri, but was defeated 98-90 by Vassilis Spanoulis’ team. Without stress and playing good basketball, the Rhodians were highly competitive and fought honorably in Athens. Peristeri with 10/19 three-pointers and 52% “killed” Kolossos outside of 6.75, but faced many difficulties throughout the match. With polyphony in scoring and great concentration, Kouros Segura’s team made it difficult for Peristeri and this was the big gain in the premiere of TOR-6.

The difference reached a double-digit level (38-28 at 15′) with an effort by the first, but with Goudlock, the Colossus managed to reduce it to 41-35. Peristeri improved its defense and got away with Poulianitis (46-35 at 18′), to close the half with +11 (50-39).
In the third quarter, Kouro Segura’s team had a very good presence and became extremely threatening. As at the beginning of the match, so also in the second half, the “Sea” started strongly and reduced to 50-43 (21’0 and 53-47 (23′). After 61-49, with which the Athenians, Kolossos reacted strongly and with the spearheads of Perantes, Billis and Sitou came close to 61-54 (25′) and with a three-pointer by Perantes it was reduced to 70-64 at the end of the period.
Kolossos was also highly competitive in the last… part of the match. Sitou reduced to 70-66, while after 80-75 with the excellent Billis, Peristeri escaped with 86-75 (34.30′). Poulianitis was “hot” (91-80 in the 36th minute), but the “seamen” again with their captain got closer to 91-85 (37th minute), causing palpitations in Peristeri. After 93-87 with Koloveros, Peristeri went on a 5-0 run and with a three-pointer by Poulianitis from his… home, it made it 98-87, ending the game. Among the winners, Poulianitis was excellent and Love, Ragland, Mitrou-Long and Hugaz helped a lot. Billis, Perantes Goudlock and Koloveros were very positive for Kolossos.
